This morning I told Aubrey that she would be walking to school with her friend Bryant.

“You mean Minion?”

I asked her what she meant.

“Well, a bunch of boys chase me at recess; I call them my minions.”

I was a little taken aback. “How do you know that word?”

Immediately she started singing “Come my minions, rise for your master….” At least she is secure in her little corner of the world. After all, who needs ‘peeps’ when you can have minions!

Science Fair Results

Here is a picture of Aubrey and her friend Natalie at the science fair. They won first place for an experiment on how mold grows on bread.

Jessica has been working on a post about her experiment, so I’ll leave those results for her to talk about.

Aubrey missing six of eight front teeth

I was looking at Aubrey about a week ago and noticed that she is missing six of her eight front teeth. It took a few days before I got a chance to take a picture and one of the permanent teeth started to come in.

Jenny just looked at the pictures and told me that next time I should tell her and she’ll do Aubrey’s hair first. Isn’t the point that there won’t be a next time?
