I got my license with the motorcycle instruction permit endorsement today. Washington gives driver licenses out like candy.
When we got Washington licenses to replace our Idaho licenses, we got new licenses. They take your picture and give you a paper license on the spot and a new license comes in the mail a few days later.
I went in this week and took the written test for a motorcycle endorsement. (The scooter is over 50cc, after all.) I passed the test, so they took my picture and gave me another paper license. The new one showed up in the mail today.
They aren’t giving the motorcycle road test for another week or so. Once I take that, I’ll get another license with the motorcycle endorsement to replace the instruction permit I have now, which means another paper license and another license in the mail.
It really seems like they hand out licenses like candy.
